About
Ann is a yoga teacher based in London. She has been teaching for 15 years. She specialises in pregnancy and postnatal yoga. Ann’s approach to pregnancy and postnatal yoga is all about the breath, building strength and stamina in the body, whilst highlighting the need for softness and yielding in the journey of pregnancy, the labouring process and beyond.
Ann initially studied at the British Wheel of Yoga, completing a 400 hour Yoga teacher Training. She has then gone on to train with Dr Gowri Motha, the founder of Gentle Birth Method, as well as completing postnatal courses with Francoise Friedman, and Well Woman courses with Uma Dinsmore Tuili. She has also studied with renowned French obstetrician, Michel Odent and Liliana Lammers, undertaking the Paramanadoula doula course.
She continues training and is forever learning new skills.

Birth Preparation
This is an extension of the pregnancy yoga class, helping the ‘parents to be’ prepare for the birthing process.
We will explore various positions for labour, breathing, and how your partner can aid you in the labouring process - the beginning of your journey into parenthood.
These classes can be offered as private sessions with the couple at Ann’s home in Hackney or at the couple’s own home. Or as a small group of 3 couples at Ann’s home.
